Brandon and Soo got married at Driftwood Estate Winery on October 26, 2013. They are so nice, and I had a fantastic time photographing their wedding celebration. Driftwood is very easy on the eyes. Right when you drive up the dirt road entrance, there is this awesome tree that is the perfect setting for some killer portrait-work. The views of the valley from the ceremony site, the reception area, and the vineyards provide the perfect setting for an outdoor Texas wedding. It is definitely one of the most picturesque venues around the Austin Area. Bird Dog Wedding was in charge of the wedding day planning, and reception design. They did an awesome job with everything! Brandon and Soo did a first look, so we were able to take quite a few of their portraits before the wedding ceremony. After the wedding was finished up, we were gifted with a great sunset that we definitely had to take advantage of. During the reception, Soo’s mother made arrangements for some traditional Korean entertainment. The Buchaechum is a traditional form of Korean dance also called a fan dance, usually performed by groups of female dancers. Many Koreans use this dance during celebrations. So, I do not know anything about Korean art or history, but the internet is a wonderful tool for blogging about unfamiliar information. Anyways, take a look at this amazing wedding, and feel free to share the photos with everyone you know!

David and Avery got married at Max’s Wine Dive on September 21, 2013. If you can recognize the date, it was the rematch of A&M and Alabama game 2 weeks back. Being that the bride and groom both attended A&M, there was a lot of interest in the game, prior to the celebration. Although their team lost (by a hair), spirits were extremely high, and the party went on! The ceremony & reception both took place at Max’s, and it was amazing. Before the wedding, and during halftime, we walked the block and got some great photos of the bridal party. It was warm out, but we had a great time. Austin Wedding Planners by Rosa did a great job with the decor as well as making things go smoothly throughout the day. The first shot of the post was definitely my favorite from the day. It is a 3 image composite taken with my trusty 35mm lens. I want to give a special thank you to Kimberly Davis with Snap Photography for helping me out with this one. Enjoy the photos!

Jennifer and Paul are such a wonderful couple. They met on Christian Mingle a while back, and here they are, a married couple! I love hearing success stories like this one:) They tied the knot at Villa St. Clair this last July. It was a gorgeous ceremony with tons of details that were very well thought out, and put together with care. I loved the entryway table with all of the old wedding photos and vintage dresses. The ceremony & reception were both indoors. It was such a warm day out, that is was a fantastic alternative to a outdoor summer wedding. We did step outside right around sunset for some wedding day portraits of Jennifer and Paul. Make sure and scroll towards the end of the post for some of my favorites from the day. Enjoy the post, and feel free to share these shots with your friends and family members. It was a great day, and I am very happy to have been a part of it!

Shelly and Brian tied the knot at Rancho Mirando, located just outside of Wimberly, Texas. It was a warm and clear Texas afternoon, and the wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to Alisha with Texas Hill Country Events. The ceremony and reception were gorgeous, and we had an amazing sunset to work with towards the later part of the day. Make sure and scroll towards the end of the post for some awesome wedding day portraits. Shelly and Brian are very kind, and are absolutely wonderful to be around. Their friends and family were very welcoming, and I had a great time photographing everyone. Christian with Altared Weddings was the DJ for the evening, and he did a great job of keeping the party rollin! Uplighting was provided by Altared Weddings as well, and the floral was provided by the lovely ladies at Wild Bunches. Enjoy the photos, and feel free to share them with your friends!

Sarah and Kevin got married at The All Saint’s Episcopal Church and the reception followed at The Texas Federation of Women’s Club Mansion . Sara and Kevin live in Colorado, but decided to have their wedding down here, in The Lone Star State. The church was gorgeous, and The Texas Federation of Women’s Club Mansion is easily one of the most photogenic venues around town. It is located right next to UT, in the heart of Austin, TX. Before the ceremony, we walked the area and took some great wedding party photos. Afterwards, we were blessed with an awesome sunset that made way for a fantastic after wedding portrait session. Ross and Laura with Look No Further Entertainment were in charge of keeping the party going with their killer DJ skills, and they did an awesome job!
Sarah and Kevin were such a pleasure to work with. They were easy going, and just plain fun to be around. Their friends and family were very kind and welcoming, and I loved being part of the wedding. I am very pleased to be able to share photos from their big day. Enjoy the shots, and feel free to share with your friends!

I had to share these two shots from yesterday’s gorgeous wedding at The Terrace Club. We had a storm roll in 5 minutes after the ceremony, but we made the most of it! Right after the storm cleared, we had an awesome sunset to work with. There will be more coming soon!

Brittany and Brandon got married this last Saturday at The Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Houston, TX and the Reception followed at The Ravenoux Country Club nearby. This group was so much fun to work with! Spirits were high, and there was excitement in the air. The ceremony was wonderful, and the reception that followed was one to remember! The wedding decor was some of the best that I have ever seen! I made sure to get quite a few shots of them! Half way through the party we walked the golf course and got some gorgeous twilight hour photos of the newlyweds. Make sure and take a look at the set towards the end of the post. Enjoy the photos!

Rachel and Marshall got married this last weekend at Hideout on the Horseshoe, in beautiful New Braunfels, TX. This wedding was a dog friendly celebration, with tons of laughter and love! I met Rachel through a wedding that I shot of another local photographer, Amy Gawlik. Rachel & Marshall’s wedding and reception were fantastic. The location was beautiful, the wedding party was super fun, and lets not forget to mention, the super cute dogs who were part of the wedding day ceremony! The flower girls escorted Hoosier, the big sheep dog down the aisle before Rachel made her way down. Upon arrival at the front of the ceremony site, he took a moment to let out a huge bark aimed right at Chaplain Larry! It was HILARIOUS! For such a mellow dog, he sure let everyone know who was boss . Ross and Laura from Look No Further Entertainment provided the tunes for the evening, and they did an awesome job of keeping the dance floor packed all night. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the evening. It was very difficult narrowing down the collection to about 50 photos, but here they are! Make sure and head towards the second half of the post to check out the post wedding portraits. The sky was looking pretty good last Saturday! Enjoy!
